Embark on a Journey through Eric's Space Exploration

Who am I? The journey to the stars started eons ago, and the story all started from that day while I was still a first grader. I always remember the moment when I saw an intoxicating science comic magazine appear on my television, and it is the fierce looking dinosaur who caught my attention. Just like every other young lad, dinosaurs have always been my thing, even for now. Thus the moment I saw a Tyrannosaurus rex smiling at me, I couldn’t help but dreaming of acquire that masterpiece. I must have it! I told myself. Even the possibility of buying a random magazine from advertisements with zero reviews seems small, I still plucked up my courage and asked my beloved mother whether I can buy the magazine, the one that shaped my life ever since.
I dare not to think what my life will become had I missed the encounter with that advertisement, perhaps I will still be one of the souls who forgot their own dreams in the rat race. The magazine is one of a kind that will truly inspire young minds, not only does it consists of topics such as technology and future, but also inspiring themes such as health, biology, psychology, and of course, space and universe. From then on, i can't help but amazed by the astonishing views of the universe, the unprecedented space technologies, and the acute insight that an average mind would never perceive. Nonetheless, dreams are merely dreams without actions. My first action happened back in Grade 10, the time when we were the first generations in Taiwan to have a self-learning course in high school. It is a course that you can do whatever you want, perfect whatever skills you select, and take action in whatever dreams you would like to pursue in. I chose to make a sugar-fuel rocket. It was a joke back then, since both my friend and I have no idea what to do, so we just randomly select something related to space, something that looked cool. I don't actually think students are capable of making rockets on their own at that time, to be honest, I was just trying to kill time, but as we kept on making, a dream started to sprout deep inside my heart. What if it's indeed possible for students to make a rocket on their own? What if, just like Mark Zuckerberg, students have as much potential as any grown up, and we are just one step far from the dream we are destined to achieve? This might be the sole reason I chose to attended so many space related projects in college.
I joined the student rocket team in my college the moment I got enrolled in, and this is the moment I realized that dreams can be done, so long as you actually devote yourself into it. Later on I attended various CubeSat design programs, became a research assistant of Gamma-ray Transient Model building program, applied for a minor in astrophysics, and became one of the interns in Space Tech Startup Supporting Program. And I'm sure that there will be more to come in the near future! Throughout the fantastic journey, I've learned techniques such as how to design a project, learned the skills of how to be a good leader, and most importantly, I learned something that changed my life, that is: everything started small, you have to achieve it step by step.
"There must be someone who does it first!" So lets embark on this splendid journey, and see what are out there waiting for us on the roads yet to come!
